Milas–Bodrum Airport is an international airport that serves the Turkish towns of Bodrum and Milas. Bodrum BJV airport is situated 36 km northeast of the town of Bodrum, and 16 km south of Milas. By car, you can reach the airport via the D330 (Mugla Bodrum Yolu), this road connects Bodrum Milas Airport with Milas and Bodrum. Milas-Bodrum Airport has two terminals.
In June 2012, the new International Terminal was put into operation, the old International Terminal is now used as Domestic Terminal (domestic flights). Since the construction of the international terminal in April 1998, BJV airport Bodrum served domestic and international air traffic with two different terminals. All this due to the increasing passenger capacity, bids for a new international terminal building were accepted on a build-operate-transfer model, and the present international terminal was used as a domestic terminal after the completion of the construction.
